Acta Scientiarum Polonorum. Architectura (ASPA) is a scientific open access journal published by the Warsaw University of Life Science Press. ASPA was launched in 2001 as one of the series of Acta Scientiarum Polonorum journal.

The current academic score of the journal is 20 points, according to the Polish Ministry of Education and Science.

The journal is indexed in Index Copernicus (ICV 2022: 100.00)

Editor-in-Chief - Prof. Eugeniusz Koda,  Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Institute of Civil Engineering, eugeniusz_koda@sggw.edu.pl

Starting from 2023, the journal has moved to the continuous publication model on an annual basis. This means that a paper is published online as soon as it is ready, without waiting for other accepted manuscripts to be ready for publication. In this model, an open yearly issue builds up gradually - a paper is added to the online issue immediately after it is ready for publication, with the most recent articles appearing at the top of the issue section. The current issue is thus visible as "in progress" unless it will be completed. We close each issue in December. New papers will be added to the next open issue. Read more

ASPA aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for researchers, designers, engineers and administration staff, involved in different fields of civil engineering, including:

  • civil engineering, housing and livestock farm structures,
  • hydro-engineering and its hydraulic and hydrological principles,
  • the impact of buildings and structures on the environment as well as green building,
  • structural mechanics and technical mechanics,
  • soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering,
  • monitoring of structures,
  • construction materials and products,
  • energy-efficient construction and the microclimate of buildings,
  • vibrations in buildings and the impact of vibration on structures,
  • mathematical modelling in civil engineering,
  • technology and management of construction processes,
  • spatial development and land use planning,
  • architecture, especially its small forms.
